Daniel C. Ferris, Master CMB, AMP Dan Ferris was Executive Vice President, Capital Markets/Production for NetMore America. Dan was responsible for all of Capital Markets, investor relations, wholesale and retail production. Prior to this position he was SVP, Western Regional Manager, Correspondent Lending for American Home Mortgage. Previously he was Vice President Correspondent Lending in the Pacific Northwest for E*Trade Financial. Previously he was Executive Vice President at Mann Financial, Inc., a cooperative net branch mortgage banking operation with offices in the West. Mr. Ferris has been involved in mortgage banking since 1984 where he began his career as a processing secretary for Continental Mortgage (currently Home Street Bank). Prior to joining Mann Financial, Inc. he was Vice President of Bank United, FSB, and managed their wholesale office in the northwest. He joined Mann Financial, Inc. January 1, 1997. Mr. Ferris has achieved his designation as a Master Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB). Mr. Ferris has served as past chairman of the education committee for the Oregon Association of Mortgage Brokers and has served as a Director on the Board of Directors for the Oregon Mortgage Lenders Association. For two years running he has also served as the chairman of the RESBOG task force on Education for the MBA, which, in 2004, was approved by RESBOG as a full committee, which he still participates in. This committee is responsible for reporting to the RESBOG all education opportunities, insuring that that the current curriculum is current and vital to the members of the MBA. Mr. Ferris continues to be a member of the Capital Markets/Secondary Marketing Committee with the MBA. He is also called on several times a year as an instructor for the MBA and AllRegs for Secondary Marketing classes. In 2010 Dan was approved as an FDIC Contractor, # C11258, after a lengthy personal investigation and review.
